the electronic machine to accept cash bill payment [anti-ATM]

anti-ATM, i call it. There is an ATM machine installed at the Electricity Dept's Bill Collection Counter. It takes the cash from Rs5 to Rs500 demonations. It only takes less than 20 seconds to pay the bill, and will be even faster with the acceptance of Credit/Debit Cards. It was a good experience to use that machine, it was first time that i was giving the machine cash not receiving.

How it Works

  • The first step is to touch the screen, to tell it that you are there, it will ask for the bill number.

  • The bill details will appear, if that's yours, touch Yes.

  • The screen with remaining and paid amount will be displayed. Now put the currency notes in the specified area, it will accept and change the remaining and paid amount details. Insert each note one by one.
[*it don't gives back the remaining amount if your bill is Rs97 and you pay Rs100, you will not get Rs3, the amount will be adjusted in next bill]

  • After payment is made, you will get a receipt.
